Salary Range: $127,900 - $217,400 *Salary range is estimated, and actual salary will be determined after consideration of the selected candidate's experience and qualifications, and application of any approved geographic salary differential. About Our Team: The Safety and Health Engineering 1 Department (04623) is the steward of Sandia's Corporate Worker Safety and Health Programs, which include electrical safety, control of hazardous energy, construction safety, ergonomics, thermal stress, hidden hazards, underwater diving, and industrial hygiene, among others. Our mission is to partner with Sandia's line organizations to provide safety and health expertise and services that enable the safe execution of Sandia's national security mission. Our team comprises world-class safety and health professionals who maintain knowledge of current regulatory requirements, possess experience in technically challenging operations, and manage occupational safety and health risks for the corporation. Security Clearance: Sandia is required by DOE to conduct a pre-employment drug test and background review that includes checks of personal references, credit, law enforcement records, and employment/education verifications.
