Job Overview & Responsibilities

  • Enterprise analysis, evaluation and coordination of SAP accounting, MPS schedules, resource planning and material planning (FI/CO/MM (GPD)/PS (Project Systems)/SD (Billing), Low to high level SAP integration between Accounting, Supply Chain, Engineering, Production Operations and Launch Operations.
  • Analyzes and evaluates complex business functions and processes for the enterprise related to the assigned areas Production Operations, Engineering, Launch Operations, Accounting, Cost Management, Material's Management, Supply Chain, and IT.
  • Interfaces with functional unit process owners and users to identify, define, and document operational needs and objectives, current operational procedures, problems, input and output requirements, and levels of systems access. Additionally, interacts with users for Accounting Contract/WBS set-up (i.e. RA Key, Profit Center, Billing Levels, Settlement Rules, etc.).
  • Defines and documents SAP business systems processes and transactions in support of business processes defined by functional unit process owners. High level understanding of SAP Roles development, as well as Role assignment, T-codes.
  • Performs complex functional configuration tasks for assigned SAP business systems to develop prototype solutions to business requirements and to implement fixes, changes, and enhancements.
  • Performs complex unit and integration testing for assigned modules from development to production, troubleshoots configuration and master data problems after release strategy changes and/or upgrades and other functional configuration changes have been created, and makes changes in configurations to resolve errors.
  • Acts as a liaison between departmental end-users and programming staff in the analysis, design, functional configuration, testing, and maintenance of assigned SAP business systems modules to ensure optimal system integration and performance.
  • Guides user testers from various business areas to complete high quality testing of assigned business system modules.
  • Tracks and documents change in complex functional and business specifications and writes detailed procedures that can be easily understood by end-users.
  • Identifies opportunities for improving business processes in partnership with process owners and management through SAP business systems and associated information systems.

Bachelor

Required Years of Experience

Minimum of 6 years of related work experience

Basic Qualifications



  • Understanding of standard SAP reporting and dashboards
  • Experience with cross-functional integration and understanding of cross-functional scope to drive business execution
  • Advanced experience with SAP tables and basic ABAP programming concepts
  • Strong communication skills including theability to communicate cross functionally and to the leadership team
  • Strong Program Management skills and the ability to drive execution



Preferred Qualifications



  • Advanced understanding of ULA business process flow in SAP
  • Advanced understand of cross-organizational processes
