JOB DUTIES



  1. Overseeing the work of all team members. Including that calls are handled both courteously and professionally, calls are answered on a timely basis and the proper greetings are used.
  2. Regulating work of housekeeping staff and ensuring efficient flow of rooms prior to check in time.
  3. Guaranteeing that all customer-related tasks are handled accurately and on time to improve the guest experience
  4. Answer all guest questions accurately and ensure guest complaints and special requests are handled in a courteous and professional manner, and ensure follow through
  5. Maintain positive guest relations at all times, ensuring guest satisfaction
  6. Ensures compliance with all Front Office policies, standards and procedures, such as safe procedures, cash handling and key security
  7. Ensures all members of Front Office understand and comply with all Marriott Standards.
  8. Welcome and register guests expeditiously, provide information to guests as needed, obtain identification and credit/check approval as directed by hotel policy. Verify rate and departure date. Confirm and modify information required to complete the registration process as per hotel procedures.
  9. Review Front Desk log when coming on shift and record pertinent information as needed throughout shift.
  10. Complete tasks on daily checklist.
  11. Communicate with other hotel departments to maintain a high level of guest satisfaction.
  12. Reconcile all charges and cash received during shift and prepare drop. Have drop witnessed.
  13. Responsible for knowledge of groups and functions in the Hotel on a daily basis and ensuring the Front Office Team is properly informed.
  14. Attends department and inter-departmental meetings.
  15. Ensures total guest satisfaction.
  16. Follow supervisor's instructions and performs other duties as directed or assigned.


WORK HOURS

Associate will be required to work day and/or evening shifts, both weekdays and weekends including holidays. Some overtime may be required.

Must have 1-2 years customer service experience.
