Job Title: Warehouse Associate - 2nd ShiftLocation: Brooklyn Park, MN2nd Shift Schedule: Monday-Friday, 1:00-9:30 pmPay: Starting at $22/hr + $1 shift differential
As a Warehouse Associate, you will fulfill daily customer orders within the assigned area of the warehouse. The Warehouse Associate is responsible for demonstrating safety and operational expertise within a quality and productivity driven environment. This position will be required to proficiently perform at least one or more distribution-related activity (e.g. receiving, stocking, order filling, packaging, shipping,) on a regular basis.

What you will do as a Warehouse Associate:
Receiving

  • Unloads trucks
  • Verifies parts
  • Receives incoming freight via computer system


Stocking:

  • Verifies product and quantity going into stock
  • Puts product in correct location utilizing FIFO
  • Accurately marks overstock and main locations


Order Filling:

  • Prioritizes orders to be filled
  • Fills orders verifying product and quantities are correct
  • Routes orders to appropriate shipping or processing area


Packaging:

  • Verifies product to be packaged is correct
  • Packages product in appropriate quantities and containers
  • Labels bags/boxes


Shipping:

  • Verifies product matches order to ship
  • Packages order to prevent damage during shipment
  • Ships order using appropriate shipping lines
  • Loads trucks
  • Other duties as assigned


What you need to be a Warehouse Associate:



  • High School Diploma/GED Required
  • Ability to lift 30-50lbs on a regular basis and up to 80lbs on occasion.
  • Forklift certified or ability to complete company-offered forklift certification training.
  • Reliable, hardworking attitude.
