This job provides guidance to leaders within OHS regarding patient experience and employee engagement. Responsibilities include managing, planning, and organizing all training program functions including program development, training development and individual guidance. Partners with and serves his or her respective leaders to help build a sustainable culture that promotes accountability, fosters innovation, and consistently delivers a great patient experience and best quality outcomes over time. The ultimate goal is to empower leaders through evidence-based tools (to be measured through accountability metrics such as HCAHPS and employee engagement scores). May manage numerous projects aimed at improving the patient experience.

Education

  • Required -Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business or related field
  • Preferred - RN License or other Clinical Healthcare Certification or Licensure.

Work Experience

  • Required -3 years experience in a Director level or higher management role
  • Project Management experience.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities (KSAs)

  • Must be proficient in computer applications (MS Outlook, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and dexterity required for data analysis and deciphering key themes and outcomes is required.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present information clearly and professionally to varying levels of individuals.
  • Ability to work independently/organize workload to provide reliable follow-through and meet timelines/deadlines.
  • Ability to build strong relationships at all levels/develop a full understanding of OHS practices and tools and communicate them effectively.
  • High level of positive interpersonal and public relations skills.
  • Organizational, decision-making, and delegating skills.
  • Experience handling high pressure situations.
  • Highly motivated, eager to learn new skills and have the ability to find creative solutions to challenges.

Job Duties

  • Manages all aspects of coaching coordination from initial contact to closing reporting back to executive team.
  • Providesproject management for patient experience projects throughout the system.

  • Conducts analysis of pre- and post- metrics to determine effectiveness of both leaders and coaching.

  • Provides training and presentations through OLN and in person.

  • Administrative duties, including day-to-day management of coaching projects by management of the overall project plan(s).

  • Other related duties as required.

(Constantly: activity or condition exists 2/3 or more of the time) to move objects. Physical demand requirements are in excess of those for Sedentary Work. Even though the weight lifted may be only a negligible amount, a job should be rated Light Work: (1) when it requires walking or standing to a significant degree; or (2) when it requires sitting most of the time but entails pushing and/or pulling of arm or leg controls; and/or (3) when the job requires working at a production rate pace entailing the constant pushing and/or pulling of materials even though the weight of those materials is negligible. NOTE: The constant stress and strain of maintaining a production rate pace, especially in an industrial setting, can be and is physically demanding of a worker even though the amount of force exerted is negligible.

Must be able to travel throughout and between facilities.

Normal routine involves no exposure to blood, body fluid or tissue and as part of their employment, incumbents are not called upon to perform or assist in emergency care or first aid.

There is no occupational risk for exposure to communicable diseases
