We are seeking a Senior Digital Marketing and Operations Specialist to keep our marketing team organized, responsive, and proactive; help mature our digital marketing strategies; and carry forward our recent MarTech implementations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing digital marketing tools and campaigns that promote our brand and products. This role requires a strategic thinker who understands digital marketing channels, data analysis, and operational efficiency. Must be a self-starter who brings ideas and initiates projects.

What you'll be doing



  • Digital marketing strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, engagement, and conversion across various digital channels (e.g., SEO, social media, email marketing, content marketing).
  • Campaign management: Plan, create, and manage digital marketing campaigns, ensuring they are aligned with business goals and target audience needs.
  • Data analysis: Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics, providing actionable insights and recommendations for optimization.
  • Website management: Own WordPress website, make updates, recommend improvements, liaise with vendor.
  • Content creation: Collaborate with the content team to produce high-quality, engaging content for digital platforms.
  • SEO: Optimize website content and structure for search engines and track performance.
  • Social media management: Oversee social media strategy, content creation, and community engagement across all relevant platforms.
  • Email marketing and governance: Design and execute email marketing campaigns, including segmentation, A/B testing, and performance analysis. Develop and optimize promotional email campaigns to drive customer and user engagement. Apply email best practices in customer segmentation, audience building, personalized offers, and measurements to continuously drive email channel performance. Ensure compliance with GDPR.
  • Marketing automation: Implement and manage marketing automation tools to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
  • Project management: Oversee project intake and management, campaign operations, and metrics, ensuring email governance. Manage external vendors and partners to ensure quality deliverables and project timelines.
  • MarTech oversight: Oversee tools such as WordPress (website), Salesforce (CRM and CMS), Zoom (webinar production), Jira/Confluence (project management), and Semrush (SEO).
  • Testing and optimization: Develop test and learn plans to enable rapid experimentation to increase the effectiveness of email programs and campaigns. Regularly test new strategies for community engagement.
  • Analytics and reporting: Evaluate KPIs for measuring success against organizational goals and work closely with the data/analytics team to continue improvements in measurements and customer segmentation. Collate data points from all sources-including web traffic referred from social sites-and produce regular reports detailing successes and areas for improvement.
  • Social media and content management: Manage the company's presence on LinkedIn. Source or create content that is engaging, relevant, and in line with the brand image. Respond to comments from followers or customers on owned channels to build relationships and foster engagement. Track conversations related to the brand on social media sites to gain insights into customer attitudes and preferences. Use various social media management tools to ensure posts are optimized for maximum reach.


What we need



  • Bachelor's degree or experience equivalent in marketing, business, or a related field
  • 10+ years of experience in digital marketing, with a focus on strategy and operations
  • Proven track record of managing successful digital marketing campaigns
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision-making
  • Proficiency in WordPress, Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engagement, and digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., Google Analytics)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong project management skills and attention to detail

    Location

    The expected application deadline for this job is November 20, 2024. This position is open to remote work. Applicants must be willing to travel to the Milliman office in Brookfield, WI as needed and travel nationwide for meetings, conferences, and team events (up to 20%).

    The salary range for this position is $78,000 - $157,000 depending on a combination of factors, including but not limited to education, relevant work experience, qualifications, certifications, location, etc. In addition, we offer a signicant performance-based bonus plan, prot sharing, and generous benets.
