An important part of our plan is to expand and grow our hardware business with a robust lineup of Consoles, Xbox Controllers, Gaming Headsets and more. We are looking for an exceptional product marketing resource to grow our hardware business and pioneer innovative new approaches to our products and marketing. This candidate will be an outstanding consumer marketer, with the make-up to effectively partner with engineering on the product roadmap and exemplify great leadership on our Product Marketing team. The Xbox Hardware Marketing team helps drive consumer passion for award-winning, fan-loved, and profitable hardware. The Product Marketing Manager, Xbox Hardware Marketing will develop the marketing vision and plans to achieve our business objectives. This individual will focus on driving third party (3P) hardware initiatives, marketing activities including go-to-market planning, product positioning, audience definition and growth planning. Additionally, this position will work closely with other cross-functional teams including Business Planning, Finance, Sales, Engineering, Supply Chain, Brand, and more. This position calls for general management skills as well as passion for and knowledge of the gaming industry. The ability to influence through written, interpersonal and formal presentation skills with sound rationale is crucial. Building and leveraging relationships with the cross functional teams will be required. Candidates must have the ability to simultaneously address multiple projects and challenges. ResponsibilitiesDeveloping the global marketing strategy and go-to-market plans (e.g. market analysis, customer understanding, positioning/messaging/branding, positioning vis a vis the competition, etc.) for Xbox hardware..Targeting, positioning & messaging of both new and existing products.Managing the product lifecycle including launches, end of manufacturing and transitions between hardware generations.Influencing the new product roadmap including product categories, features, and experiences and evaluation vs. audience needs.Communicating expectations, plans, and results with senior management, global Field leads and other stakeholders with confidence and clarity.Owning product and marketing statements on packaging.Collaborating with licensed third-party Xbox Hardware teams.Creating product demos and supporting them at key consumer, industry, and public relations events.Business management & Marketing insights/recaps.Budget planning and management.OtherEmbody our Culture and Values
