This role is remote; however, applicants must reside within a commutable distance to Albuquerque, NM for occasional work in the office.

Job Duties:



  • Assist providers with questions/educate on the portal application.
  • Enter documentation of requests for, utilization review, and other medical management services (collect/enter information into the system that is limited to non-clinical data or is structured clinical data).
  • Convey case information and other notifications via inbound and outbound calls.
  • Assist providers to upload the documentation of requests for, utilization review, and other medical management services
  • Respond to inbound telephone requests.
  • Enter case information from original source documentation.
  • Make courtesy calls with case reference numbers.
  • Provide notification of completed review and NRD, when applicable
  • Contribute to orientation and training of other non-clinical employees
  • As requested, create templates for complex reviews, perform internal quality reviews, and/or participate in provider outreach activities.
  • Create, develop, and mail letters.

Required Skills

Education:



  • High school diploma or equivalent

    • Equivalent combination of education and/or work experience in related field may be substituted




Preferred

Post-secondary education or certification in a related field preferred

Required Experience

  • 2 years of related work experience or customer service experience
  • 1 year of work experience in healthcare


A background working with adults who have intellectual and/or developmental disabilities, or experience providing administrative support and customer service as a point of contact
