The Beckman Research Institute of City of Hope is looking for a talented Postdoctoral Fellow under the direction of Dr. Ling Li.

Our dynamic department stands at the forefront of cutting-edge medical research. As a Postdoctoral Fellow, you will actively contribute to groundbreaking projects, employing high-throughput CRISPR genetic screening to unveil novel targets and utilizing single-cell technology for in-depth genome analysis in hematological malignancies. You will also engage in diverse activities, from scrutinizing leukemia evolution to pioneering novel immunotherapies. As a successful candidate you will:

  • Perform genotyping.
  • Amplify plasmid.
  • Procure reagents/supplies.
  • Master mouse techniques such as transplantation, extraction of bone marrow cells, and antibody staining.
  • Isolate Peripheral Blood/Bone marrow mononuclear cells (PBMC) from Human Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) or normal healthy samples and conduct Flow Cytometry for verification only for human specimens.

Qualifications

Your qualifications should include:

  • Ph.D. degree in life or biomedical sciences, or a related discipline is required.
