This position includes supervisory responsibilities and is a great promotional opportunity for experienced budget and management analysts with an interest in position management, position control, and modeling personnel costs to support budget development and collective bargaining negotiations.
OMB reports to the County Administrator and has the responsibility of guiding the organization in the development and management of the annual operating budget, the six-year capital budget, long-range demographics forecasting, organizational performance management, revenue modeling and forecasting, and financial modeling for collective bargaining negotiations. Job Summary

OMB seeks an experienced management analyst to serve as a newly created Management Analyst V/Team Lead responsible for leading the work of the Position Management and Collective Bargaining team. This position will serve as a working manager and supervise one senior analyst. Core responsibilities include participation on the County's internal collective bargaining negotiating team, preparation of fiscal impacts for collective bargaining negotiations, long-term personnel budget forecasting, position management and position control oversight, and general budget analysis and support to the Department of Human Resources.

Minimum Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Public Administration, or related field coupled with five (5) years of related work experience in budget management and use of automated financial/accounting systems; or equivalent combination of education and experience. A Master's degree is a substitute for two (2) years of work experience. OMB heavily utilizes the Microsoft Suite, Oracle, and Hyperion.
