What You'll Do

Reporting to the Global Manager - Organization Development and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, this position is part of a small OD, DEI and L&D team, responsible for leading the development, execution and implementation of global strategies that align with and support the company's objectives. Before we build and design from scratch, we leverage and improve the good practices that already exist across the business. We ensure our work is practical, effective, and consistently embedded in our systems and processes for long term sustainability.

We work closely with the HR team and the business, providing strong support to ensure the strategies, plans, actions and initiatives are implemented across the organization. This role will be primarily responsible for developing and implementing regional (Americas) OD and DEI strategies, plans and actions.



  • Be a positive contributor to our safety culture across the team and organization and ensure compliance with applicable HSEC performance, standards, acts and regulations
  • Contribute to the development of the Company's global OD (including but not limited to leadership development, role development, talent, succession, culture and employee engagement) and DEI strategies to deliver Company objectives
  • Translate global OD and DEI strategies into practical regional delivery plans
  • Build, design and implement OD and DEI programs, tools, initiatives and practices to support OD and DEI strategies
  • Ensure appropriate governance systems, guidance and support to deliver OD and DEI strategies while ensuring all necessary legal compliance
  • Proactively support the reporting on OD and DEI for the Board, Executive Leadership Team, relevant Steering Committees, People Leadership Team and HR Function to measure impact of initiatives and identify areas for improvement
  • Leadership of the OD and DEI processes including: people insights survey(s), talent and succession including annual cycle and quarterly talent councils, development planning and external reporting including contributing to the relevant People sections of the Company's annual reports and reporting to governing bodies including Bloomberg Gender Equality Index
  • Act as an SME within the organization, staying current with OD and DEI industry trends and best practices to support HR functions and the business
  • Other duties as assigned



What We're Looking For:



  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Psychology or related field or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrated experience in HR roles in either a generalist or specialist capacity (OD or DEI experience preferred)
  • Demonstrated experience developing people-related strategies, ideally in areas of OD and/or DEI
  • Ability to take people-related strategies and translate them into practical action plans and then execute on those plans
  • Proven experience with annual or cyclical HR processes including talent, succession planning, development planning and/or employee engagement surveys
  • Background in coaching, supporting and motivating individuals and teams to achieve OD and DEI objectives
  • Visible leader for diversity, equity and inclusion
  • Proven ability influencing and collaborating with key stakeholders at all levels of an organization
  • Ability to analyze data to inform data driven decision making
  • High level critical/strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills, tailored for the audience
