Material Handling Associate

ACARA Solutions and our client in Irvine, CA have a contract-to-direct hire position available.

Material Handling Associate

• Need the ability to lift 40 lbs (unassisted)
• Understanding that this position is a lot of Material handling & cycle counting
• The ability to ship FEDEX and UPS via computer

• With integrity, accountability, and professionalism, you'll perform the physical and administrative tasks of distributing materials, parts, supplies, and equipment to manufacturing.
• You'll also package and prepare materials for delivery to the designated program and manufacturing locations, perform cycle counts and inventory verification of parts based on information provided, and distribute materials received from stores to manufacturing areas.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in material handling.

• Ability to lift heavy items and may operate a forklift.
• Ability to develop basic knowledge of the enterprise software tools.
• Ability to obtain necessary certifications as necessary.
• Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
• Awareness of continuous improvement initiatives.

• Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.
