We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Internal Communications Manager to lead the development and execution of comprehensive internal and employee communication strategies. This person will be responsible for ensuring that our internal communications effectively support cultural alignment, organizational change, and drive our business objectives forward.

This role will oversee communication strategies across multiple platforms, driving clarity, transparency, and a sense of community throughout the organization.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Internal Communications Strategy: Define the playbooks for our internal communications, shaping the practices for our All Hands meetings, email distribution lists and more.
  • Content Strategy and Development: Oversee the creation, editing, and dissemination of high-quality communication materials, including videos, newsletters, emails, presentations, and intranet content. Ensure all content is clear, relevant, and reinforces company values.
  • Change Management Communication: Lead communication strategies to support large-scale change initiatives. Ensure employees are informed, engaged, and aligned throughout transitions.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work cross-functionally to influence and support programs and content distribution across organizations, functions, and geographies.
  • Employee Engagement: Design and execute initiatives to foster employee engagement and a strong company culture. Lead programs that promote two-way communication, encouraging feedback and collaboration across all departments.
  • Measurement and Continuous Improvement: Establish KPIs to measure the effectiveness of internal communication efforts. Regularly assess communication channels and strategies, using data and cross-functional feedback to drive continuous improvement.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Demonstrated success working with leadership and managing complex internal communication initiatives.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple high-priority projects simultaneously.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft messages that resonate across all levels of the organization.
  • Experience in leading change management communications in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Expertise in using digital communication tools and platforms, including video content, and intranet platforms.
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • 7+ years of experience in internal communications, corporate communications, or a similar leadership role.


PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Experience in managing communication strategies for large or global organizations.
  • Familiarity with agency management and video production
  • Strong understanding of employee engagement strategies and metrics.
  • Ability to foster relationships and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of industry best practices in corporate communications and change management.

The following represents the expected range of compensation for this role:

  • The estimated base salary range for this role is $138,000 - $192,100.
  • Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Snowflake's bonus and equity plan.

The successful candidate's starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location. This role is also eligible for a competitive benefits package that includes: medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance; 401(k) retirement plan; flexible spending & health savings account; at least 12 paid holidays; paid time off; parental leave; employee assistance program; and other company benefits.
