Overview The Clinical Lab Technical Specialist collaborates with supervisor, manager, and Technical Director to maintain technical and procedural operations in the section. Assists and leads in project development/implementation, quality assurance, orientation training, continued education, and competency testing for staff. Researches, develops, and implements new or improved procedures and instrumentation, performing and/or reviewing quality control, and quality improvement and regulatory/compliance assignments.
Qualifications Education Requirement: Bachelor's degree in medical laboratory science; or a chemical, physical, or biological science from an accredited institution, required. Certifications: American Society of Clinical Pathology (ASCP) certification, preferred. Skills:
Experience: Three yearsnexperience in a similar laboratory, required.
