Genesis10 is currently seeking an Application Programmer with our client in the financial industry located in Richmond, VA. This is a 12 + month contract position. Responsibilities: Responsible for developing and delivering complex software requirements to accomplish business goals Ensure that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements Serve as a fully seasoned/proficient technical resource; will not have direct reports, however may provide technical leadership on projects and direct activities of a team related to projects May collaborate with external programmers to coordinate delivery of software application Routine accountability is for technical knowledge and capabilities Work with minimal supervision, with general guidance from more seasoned team members Interpret business requirements into design solutions and understand design and development of project lifecycle Creation and maintenance of system, functional and reference documentation Provide support during testing phases as required, analysis and recommend bug fixes for production incidents, performance tuning Report root cause of the incidents and present ideas on how to prevent the incidents from occurring in future Requirements: 5+ years' experience with ASP.Net, C# (3.5/4, Web application /4.5) 3+ years' experience with SQL - 2008/2012 3+ years' experience with Web Service/ WCF 3+ years' experience with Web development 3+ years' experience with MVC Linux Windows 7 Strong communication skills Desired skills: Oracle (Oracle 11g or higher) GIT/Bitbucket Jenkins Pay Range: $55.06 - $63.06 Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
