What you will do:

Define, design, and implement process improvement as a part of the Johnson Controls Operating System (JCOS), support integration and alignment vertically and horizontally across organization. Define improvement projects aligned with business strategies and JCI priorities. Own and implement critical and important projects to deliver process improvement in key areas. Apply Lean, Six Sigma and change management methodologies and have appropriate levels of certification for the role.

How will you do it:

Work closely with local leadership to implement and deliver improvements in process performance while achieving/maintaining certification that meets all JCI requirements.

Mentor other CI project leaders for certification and help accelerate results and improve the culture of continuous improvement within the regional Shared Services organization.

Improving the CI culture within all teams along their core value streams including Procure-to-Pay, Record-to-Report and Order-to-Cash.

Work as part of the Continuous Improvement team to identify key process improvement opportunities and lead process standardization and the transformation of high quality, process execution utilizing the Johnson Controls CI portfolio of tools available including Lean, Six Sigma, problem solving, etc.

Conduct and lead Green Belt, Lean, Kaizen and other CI related training for all Finance personnel sharing the responsibility with other Continuous Improvement peers.

Facilitate VSM/kaizen workshop and drive action closure.

What we look for:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business, Quality, Computer Science, or Finance
  • Demonstrated ability within CI and the transactional arena
  • Certified Black Belt from an accredited institution or business.
  • Shown leadership capability and change agent
  • Interacts with the functional team members well and is a team player.
  • Understands and demonstrates how to tie functional and operational demands and enabling technologies that can help drive quality improvements for the business.
  • Able to communicate optimally through guiding and training others, while offering mentoring and help to other CI project leaders for their project success.
  • The ability to learn quickly and progress rapidly from given process.
  • Good written skills with the ability to produce clear and concise documentation.

Preferred:

  • PMP certified preferred.
