Compensation Range:

Anticipated Base compensation rate is in the range of $36.24 - $42.92 / Hour depending on qualifications and experience.

Expectations:

Under the direction of the Central Sterile Processing (CSP) Manager, the Central Sterile Processing Supervisor monitors daily operations in the CSP department, ensuring technicians are trained in and abide by all departmental policies and procedures. Participates with CSP Manager in planning for future needs and project implementation related to personnel, program development, instrument and equipment, interdepartmental relationships, and department goals. Establishes and maintains professional rapport with medical, nursing, and other staff. Performs the duties of an CSP Technician as required. Assumes responsibilities for department as a whole in the absence of the CSP Manager.

EDUCATION:
High School Diploma or GED. Graduate of an Accredited School of Surgical Technology. BS degree strongly preferred.

EXPERIENCE/TRAINING:
Strong knowledge of sterile processing procedures and policies. Strong human resource management skills. Prior experience in CSP supervisory position or comparable experience strongly preferred.

LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:
Required:
Current Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) certification issued by Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA)

Preferred:
Current Certified Healthcare Leader (CHL) certificate issued by Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA)

SKILLS:
Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment. Knowledge of industry standards from but not limited to AORN, AAMI, CDC, The Joint Commission, CMS, Title 22.
