The Commercial Operations Director increases customer satisfaction by supporting a seamless and efficient customer journey. You are responsible for promoting sales excellence by standardizing processes to improve productivity, providing training to improve sales effectiveness and supporting pipeline management through Salesforce administration. You will report to the Vice President. This role may be based in our Pittsburgh, PA office or another PPG office for a 3 day hybrid schedule. Key Responsibilities You will direct your team in the creation of actionable insights that inspire top line growth and influencing of a flawless customer journey. You will have oversight of the following functions: Customer Service: Order Management Lead the customer service team to ensure exceptional service delivery and customer satisfaction. Develop and implement commercial policies and customer service processes* Improve customer service business model, applying Global Business Services (GBS). Pricing Grow marketing strategies to lead profitable growth. Develop pricing logic to standardize quotation process and improve commercial productivity. Analyze market trends, competitor pricing, and demand forecasts to adjust models. Commercial Excellence Aligned with the Global Commercial Excellence strategy, guide improved productivity, sales effectiveness and commercial policy creation with process creation/standardization, digital solution implementation, training. Deliver comprehensive sales training programs to enhance skills of the team. Improve coverage model for inside sales, define customer criteria, adjust compensation model. Customer Quality Working with Plant Quality Manager to develop and support implementation of Total Quality Management system. Conduct analysis on all CAIRs to ensure close out of issues to improve customer satisfaction. Support Rapid Improvement Workshops to guide reduction in quality incident recurrence. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Management, Organizational Leadership or another related field required. 10+ years' experience within Commercial Supportive Functions, Commercial or Business Management. MBA preferred.
