Job Description:

The School District of Milton is seeking a flexible and adaptable individual for a Substitute Instructional Aide position at Milton High School. The employee will be able to assist students with daily lessons, assist the teachers with developing learning materials, promote communication and understanding between the school and the student's home. Other responsibilities include providing support (study hall) to students outside of the classroom and supervision of students in the cafeteria.

The position will begin on October 11, 2024 and will end on November 8, 2024 with the workday starting at 9:00 a.m. and ending at 1:00 p.m. (20 hours per week) Monday through Friday. The employee will be compensated $15.15 per hour and will be paid by Teachers on Call, but managed by the School District of Milton. Please communicate with TEACHERS ON CALL regarding employment.

Qualifications:

Candidates should be organized, have strong communication skills, and be able to collaboratively work with others (including other aides, teachers, students and parents). The ideal candidate will have experience working in a school setting and demonstrate empathy for children. A valid Wisconsin driver's license is required.
