Position Summary Oversee transfer admissions for the Office of Undergraduate Admissions. Work closely with the Director on transfer reading processes and enrollment strategy for both internal and external transfers for NYU's 10 undergraduate schools and colleges. Partner with the Recruitment Team regarding transfer recruitment strategy. Manage the recruitment of prospective students from local area community colleges to the NYU Community College Transfer Opportunity Program (CCTOP), which provides recruitment, admission and support services to students transferring from select community colleges. Oversee the provision of general advising and support to enrolled CCTOP students. Manage a team of admissions counseling professionals. Represent NYU to wide and diverse audiences around the world. Advise prospective students, parents, and high school/transfer counselors regarding admissions policies, procedures, academic programs, and financial aid opportunities. Evaluate applications and recommend admissions decisions for all of NYU's undergraduate colleges; review and evaluate credentials. Bachelor's Degree Preferred Education: Master's Degree Required Experience: 5+ years relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must include experience in an admissions office or academic setting including student recruitment, financial aid, student life or housing, and staff supervision. Preferred Experience: 5+ years Experience using Slate in an admissions office setting Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Valid drivers license. Excellent communication, interpersonal, presentation, and strategic planning skills. Additional Information In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $70,000.00 to USD $85,000.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
