Inventory & Demand Planner

Brief Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Inventory and Demand Planner to drive demand forecasting, inventory optimization, and supply chain efficiency. This role ensures accurate demand planning using statistical models, market trends, and collaboration with key stakeholders. Additionally, the position focuses on improving supply chain processes, inventory management, and reporting to support business goals & KPIs.

Essential Functions:

Manage forecast systems and master data in SAP & ForecastPro.
• Analyze and refine forecast accuracy using statistical models and sales input.
• Collaborate with Global Sales to track and adjust customer and OEM forecasts.
• Execute monthly forecast updates in SAP and manage select customer forecasts.
• Align forecasts with sales and marketing strategies in partnership with key stakeholders.
• Develop and refine reporting tools using Excel, Power BI, and ERP system.

• Optimize inventory levels using ION software to balance service and stock.
• Enhance supply chain reporting and performance tracking.
• Maintain and adjust MRP parameters, including Min Lot Size and ABC analysis.
• Manage End-of-Life (EOL) processes and obsolete stock analysis.
• Identify and address surplus or slow-moving inventory.
• Support additional analytical projects and strategies as needed.

Required Skills & Abilities:

• ERP System Experience & Forecasting and Inventory Planning terminology required
• Strong Microsoft Suite skills a must: Excel; Pivot tables, PowerPivot, PowerBI
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data management skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize and communicate effectively
• Experience with ForecastPro and SAP ECC 6.0 forecasting functions preferred
• SQL or similar program experience a plus

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Business or related field.
• Minimum of four (4) years of experience in forecasting and planning analytics or related field

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 15 pounds and operate office equipment such as a copier; ability to see details at a close range; ability to sit at desk or PC for long periods of time; ability to travel; work in office setting.
