Responsible for monitoring of patient status via electronic systems and appropriate staff is notified of variance and alarms according to departmental policy. Patient data is documented in a timely manner according to departmental standards.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Education: High School Graduate or Equivalent required. Experience: No experience required. Licensure: ECG Certification with the American Board of Cardiovascular Medicine or National Telemetry Tech Certification with the National Telemetry Association required within 12 months of hire date. PHYSICAL DEMANDS Job requires sitting for prolonged periods, frequently bending/stooping, reaching (overhead, extensive, repetitive). Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; Attention to detail and ability to write legibly; May be exposed to fumes, chemicals, and cold.
