University of Virginia School of Education and Human Development department of Curriculum, Instruction and Special Education is seeking candidates for Educational Support Specialists to support, guild and mentor full time/part time graduate, undergraduate, and non-degree students in various areas of emphasis. The incumbent(s) will provide programmatic guidance, student mentorship, limited advising, and other student support services as needed. A bachelor's degree in education or related field is required a master's degree in education is preferred. A minimum of 3 years of teaching in a secondary or post-secondary setting or providing student support services in a post-secondary setting is also referred. This is a wage position which is not eligible for leave or other benefits and is limited to 1500 hours of work in a year.
