Overview

Performs preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment and systems (e.g., mechanical,electrical) | Evaluates and recommends equipment improvements to improve availability, capability and yield | Performs equipment failure analyses (including preventive and unscheduled maintenance) | Troubleshoots and diagnoses equipment problems | Prepares technical reports to document equipment modifications and equipment maintenance procedures



Major Position Responsibilities

* Performs preventive maintenance and skilled repairs on complex electrical and mechanical production equipment and systems.

* Follows standard procedures to monitor equipment for performance, safety, and effectiveness.

* Performs equipment failure analysis to complete preventive and unscheduled maintenance.

* Troubleshoots and diagnoses equipment problems.

* Logs equipment modifications and maintenance details in the designated system.

* Follows prescribed safety rules and regulations and maintains quality standards



Basic Qualifications

Required Education: Vocational/Technical Degree or Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education & Experience

Preferred Education: Vocational/Technical Degree

Years and Area of Expertise: 2-4 years of relevant experience

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Ability to work as part of a team. Problem-solving skills. Technical expertise. Automation. Calibration. Equipment maintenance. Failure analysis. Manufacturing support. Mechanical Troubleshooting. Numerical control. Production support Refurbishment. Total Productive Maintenance (TPM). Equipment repairs. Mechanical maintenance. Equipment monitoring. Process documentation.
