Position Overview

The Associate Manager, Enterprise Platforms is responsible for supporting the delivery of capabilities to meet business needs within one of Exact Sciences' enterprise platform teams. This role is responsible for intaking and analyzing new requests and facilitating cross-functional work efforts to estimate and plan project efforts. This role is responsible for delivering projects under the guidance of other leaders. The Associate Manager, Enterprise Platforms leverages good interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships with other areas of IT and with business subject matter experts.

Essential Duties

Include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to intake, analyze, plan, and estimate new requests.
  • Partner with subject matter experts and entry level managers to define requirements within and outside of IT.
  • Deliver small project efforts; responsible for cross-functional project team performance.
  • Stay informed of technology industry trends and solutions to analyze for possible application in our environment.
  • Closely work with process owners from various departments to build and maintain process workflows to ensure scalability across the business/various business units.
  • Participate in vendor customer discussions, or similar mechanisms, for providing input toward improving performance and expanding business functionality.
  • Support systems validation/testing to SOX, FDA, and other regulatory compliance, as needed.
  • Work with other IT management and staff to develop and maintain standards, processes, and documentation.
  • Supervise staff; including, but not limited to, organize and prioritize work, write/conduct performance reviews, train/develop, and manage work performance.

  • Ability and means to travel between local Exact Sciences locations.
  • Ability to travel 10% of working time away from work location, may include overnight/weekend travel.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field as outlined in the essential duties; or High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and 4 years of relevant experience as outlined in the essential duties in lieu of Bachelor's Degree.
  • 5+ years of professional information technology or business experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in a technology related role.
  • 1+ years of leadership experience in a project or program manager capacity.
  • Demonstrated understanding of business and technical concepts with the ability to grasp business needs, requirements, and complex technical concepts.
  • Demonstrated project delivery involving complex business workflows or system architectures.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of a variety of software and hardware solutions, to include multi-vendor environments and hybrid environment of on premise, co-located, and cloud-based services.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform the essential duties of the position with or without accommodation.
  • Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional working knowledge of health care or biotechnology.
  • Professional working knowledge of Agile delivery methodologies.

Salary Range:

$85,000.00 - $135,000.00

The annual base salary shown is for this position located in US - WI - Madison on a full-time basis. In addition, this position is bonus eligible, and is eligible to receive company stock upon hire as well as annually.
