Role / Title:

  • The Group Lead, Mnfr - Technical Platforms (Electrical Engineer) will be focused on assessing supporting Capital projects and plant manufacturing. Capital projects will focus on attending/leading design reviews to assure the electrical standards are met (where applicable). Reviewing OEM and/or engineering designs with a maintenance and operations mindset to assure ongoing efficient operations. Provide plant technical support to assist in the lifecycle management of the installed base of technology. Assist in authoring the replacement/improvement CAR's to assure suitable replacement technology is selected. Act as a technical liaison and provide plant technical support and help identify and resolve issues before incurring process/plant efficiency losses. Respond to emergency calls if the plants experience technical issues that they can't solve locally and can't be solved remotely.

Principle Accountabilities:

  • Team members will act as resident experts within their eld of expertise and provide guidance to the broader team on the strategic t within the Manufacturing Network.
  • Technology lifecycle management across the areas of reasonability
  • Actively engage with outside technical support partnersto drive process improvement and system reliability
  • Guide/lead the execution teams through implementation to assure sustainable business results.
  • Lead electrical maintenance practices, electrical reliability, and electrical safety across the Manufacturing Network
  • Monitor operations metrics and identify opportunities to redene metrics that better align behaviors with desired business results
  • Understands KHC's product cost drivers and utilizes available tools to identify productivity "drill sites".
  • Support the Manufacturing Leadership Team in prioritizing & resolving current technical Manufacturing
  • Provide electrical/electronic technology guidance knowledge and drive necessary changes regarding PLC's, HMI's, drives, controls, safety circuits and communications
  • Deep electrical systems automation systems knowledge to steer the Network strategy for transformation projects
  • Develop project design, scope, cost estimates and timelines for electrical automation systems that aid in transformational automation projects
  • Support responsibility for the control, efficient performance, and maintenance of industrial equipment or systems. Their job description involves overseeing general technical processes in an engineering or industrial establishment to ensure optimal performance and operation.
  • Play a prominent role in the management of the plant operation, ensure that the organization follows the standard procedure and must take steps to ensure compliance.
  • Requires working with cross-functional teams to architect, validate, commission, and program pilot lines to high volume production.
  • Will drive electrical reliability, electrical design and electrical safety standards across all manufacturing lines and processes.
  • Strategic Direction Input: lead the review, development and implementation of an Operational Technology Strategy leveraging intelligent transport, IoT and contemporary OT technologies to achieve company goals and industry leadership
  • Documented OT Strategy and Roadmap for the plants they support
  • Liaison between the outside technical OEM/Engineering Firms and the plant technical resources.
  • Direct problem solving but with a passion to teach the plant technical resources how to approach complex problems and drive to the root cause.
  • Drive discipline on the documentation front to assure the plants/projects improvements can be sustained long-term.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Engineering or related eld/experience is required
  • 10 years of manufacturing experience is required with the ability to articulate & implement new technologies and process designs
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as Information Technology, Electrical or Chemical Engineering, Computer Science, or Management Information Systems.
  • 15+ Years of manufacturing experience including OT environment
  • Previous Engineering and/or Maintenance Manager experience highly preferred.
  • Able to lead a team (matrix relationship) of Process Managers & highly technical individuals
  • Able to inuence senior leaders within the Manufacturing Leadership Team
  • Able to facilitate highly technical statistical approaches to problem solving, gathering and analyzing Network/Operational data
  • Able to provide mentoring and coaching to seasoned plant technical Leaders / professionals
  • Act as the resident domain expert within their field
  • Experience in overseeing general technical processes in an engineering or industrial establishment to ensure optimal performance and operation.
