This position is fully remote and can be located anywhere in the United States.

Job Summary

The TherOx Clinical Marketing and Training Manager will be responsible for driving the overall market adoption of ZOLL's TherOx product line by delivering high level clinical training for field team, creating content for marketing materials, driving sales and marketing operational needs and overseeing logistics for event execution. This role will spearhead the growth, awareness, and positioning of SuperSaturated Oxygen (SSO2) Therapy, a novel disruptive therapeutic solution to enhance clinical outcomes for STEMI patients, by supporting the business through clinical training, product management, sales and marketing operations, marketing communications and physician engagement. The position reports to the Director of Marketing, TherOx.

Essential Functions

  • Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for new field team hires and ongoing training for existing field team members, focusing on relevant literature that enhances clinical acumen in order to accelerate the sales process.
  • Identify and develop Interventional Cardiologists, Key Opinion Leaders (KOL), and specialty society leaders with the capabilities to present, teach, and articulate SSO2 Therapy's unique value proposition through podium, publication, abstracts, and company sponsored events (e.g. Peer-To-Peer initiatives).
  • Partner with KOLs to create, maintain and enhance clinical messaging, sales tools, and training to ensure physician, staff, administration and field team competence on the benefits and features of SSO2 Therapy; including the development of impactful presentations and tools to facilitate clinical messaging.
  • Ensure marketing strategies and initiatives are well communicated and that all necessary support materials (e.g. brochures, clinical compendium) are available to ensure optimum execution of the commercial operational plan.
  • Prepare forecasts and manage finished goods inventory levels accordingly to achieve plan.
  • Create sales tracking tools and regularly communicate results to ensure widespread visibility to performance and opportunity for course correction.
  • Manage logistics behind congresses, focus groups, social media, webinars and marketing campaigns.

Required/Preferred Education and Experience

  • BA/BS or equivalent required.
  • MBA preferred.
  • 5 years experience in medical device marketing required.
  • Background in interventional cardiology, structural heart, and/or heart failure preferred.
  • Previous experience and understanding of the cardiac cath lab workflow, procedures and related cardiology products.
  • New product launch and/or therapy development experience; preferably in a medical device start up environment.
  • Previous experience building and executing field sales training programs with a strong focus on clinical content and messaging.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Strong team player and self-starter with demonstrated marketing tool/materials development and training skills.
  • Ability to manage projects in a fast-paced environment and work effectively cross functionally, handling various tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated analytical, strategic, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong presentation and writing skills.
  • Fluent in English (written and verbal) is required.
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time.
