TITLE: Driver-Lubes Bobtail LOCATION: Sulphur, LA POSITION REPORTS TO: Terminal Manager WAGES: Commensurate with experience, position, and location SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday (Day shift). Overtime and weekends may be required. RESPONSIBILITIES Pick up and deliver products to assigned locations as instructed Properly load and unload product at various customer locations in a professional, courteous, timely, safe, and efficient manner Operate pumps for loading and unloading of bulk products Complete and turn in paperwork accurately and in a timely manner Properly follow all DOT regulations, policies, and procedures Follow Sun Coast and customer operational and safety policies and procedures Use onboard technology as instructed (Smartlogix, Samsara) Cross train on mainstream bobtail (fuel) Comply with Sun Coast's accident and incident reporting procedures for accidents and spills Other related tasks as assigned by manager BASIC REQUIREMENTS Locals only please. Must live within 60 miles of terminal Minimum age 23 Valid class A or B license with hazmat and tanker endorsements, a good driving record, and a good understanding of DOT regulations Must have at least one year of experience hauling liquid bulk in a tanker trailer or bobtail Must be able to drive a 10-speed tractor Must initiate TWIC card process within 30 days of hire Must have experience hauling and offloading bulk products Must be able to work nights, weekends, and an extended workweek-overnight and/or out of town travel may be required Must have some mechanical and electrical aptitude Must have a professional appearance and demeanor Ability to work in extreme weather conditions, and for 12 to 18 hours per day Ability to work well under pressure in a team environment and get along with others Must be able to read, speak, write, and communicate using the English language well enough to perform the job functions Strong customer service skills, and the ability to effectively prioritize, multi-task, manage time, organize, and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment PREFERRED Experience in the fuel and or Lube industry TWIC Card Sun Coast Resources, LLC is an equal opportunity employer.
