Career Services Coordinator Hondros College of Nursing Hondros College of Nursing is hiring a Career Services Coordinator for the West Chester Campus! Responsibilities:
- Providing career services resources to students, target groups and community members
- Identifying, promoting, and seeking career services opportunities for current students and alumni of Hondros College of Nursing
- Maintaining continual contact with current students and alumni to ensure thorough and current knowledge of student statuses
- Providing career coaching to students regarding resume building, the interview process, job expectations and professionalism
- Participating in campus and College-wide events
- Collecting and uploading Career Placement Questionnaires and Authorization to Release forms
- Coordinating efforts to bring employers on campus for career fairs, meetings, and other career related events
- Maintaining student/graduate records and student placement files according to Hondros College of Nursing policies
- Uploading and maintaining job leads to internal student database of available job opportunities
- Organizing internal job posting boards to ensure they are clean, neat, and display current listings
- Assisting graduates with providing resources for success; such as boot camps and review sessions
- Answers phone, schedules appointments, greets students, responds to questions, and refers students to other college support services.
- Distributes informational material to faculty, staff, and students.
- Assists in the preparation of forms and reports.
- Participates in new student orientation activities.
- Maintains students' records, logs, and databases.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor's Degree preferred
- At least one year experience in career counseling, student services, or campus operations position
- Excellent Knowledge of career services and student placement processes
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and record management skills
- Strong Customer Service Skills
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
- Strong knowledge of career development and job search processes
- Flexibility and the ability to manage multiple tasks
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Ability to maintain security of confidential student records
- Ability to work with a diverse student population
