Position Highlights	The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry (CBC) at the University of Arizona invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor starting in Fall 2025. The successful candidate will join a dynamic research environment within CBC and will have strong opportunities to collaborate with numerous Centers of Excellence across multiple Colleges. We seek candidates with a research and education program in analytical chemistry, broadly defined. Candidates will be expected to establish a vigorous and sustainable research program demonstrated by an excellent track record of creative research accomplishments and external funding. Duties & Responsibilities	Establish and maintain a vigorous, productive and nationally and internationally recognized research program. Teach at the graduate and undergraduate levels and contribute to innovation in curricular development in the broad areas of analytical chemistry and measurement science. Mentor students in a culturally responsive manner. Participate in outreach and contribute to departmental, college, and university service. Develop innovative approaches to enhancing student engagement and expanding collaborations with community and business partners. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Excellence in measurement science research and education. Ability to attract external funding. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Minimum Qualifications	Ph.D. in Chemistry, or a closely related field.
Preferred Qualifications	Post-doctoral research experience. Demonstrated experience mentoring students. Experience in obtaining external research funding. Established experience in working with diverse communities.
