Overview FamiliesFirst Network of Lakeview (FFN) provides foster care, adoption and child welfare services in Escambia, Santa Rosa, Okaloosa and Walton counties. The nonprofit's specialized team is passionate about helping abused and neglected children and their families. FamiliesFirst Network collaborates with partners throughout the state, in Northwest Florida's four-county area and within our faith-based communities to ensure the safety and well-being of children. Position Summary This position is to provide adoption education and services for children and families in the child welfare system where there is a legal case goal of adoption. This position is responsible for assessing the child's and family's adoption readiness and offering support or interventions to ensure permanency is obtained for the child in a physically and emotionally safe and stable environment. Qualifications * A high school diploma or GED equivalent and four years of full-time social work or human services experience; or associate degree or 60+ credit hours from an accredited college or university and two (2) years of professional work experience (see examples below) or two (2) years of full-time social work or human services experience; or bachelor's degree for those without relevant professional experience, social work, or human services experience.
