Description ECD, a Pavion company is seeking a talented and motivated Low Voltage Technician to join our security business unit. Primary Responsibilities: Install, program, and test fire alarm systems Install, program and troubleshoot advanced electronic control systems Install, program and troubleshoot access control systems Install, program and troubleshoot networked CCTV systems Read blueprints and schematics using Bluebeam Diagnose causes of problems or failures in systems for the purpose of identifying equipment and systems repair Interact and communicate effectively with individuals and teams at all levels and across diverse cultures Interact professionally with customers Lead a team of 2 to 5 technicians on a jobsite Basic Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED 5+ years' experience installing and programming fire alarms, access control, and CCTV systems Strong understanding of general building practices and processes. CSA or NICET 2 Valid Driver Licenses and acceptable driving record Effective communicate skills used to convey job status to coordinators and Superintendents. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Networking and Integration of multiple systems under one platform such as Milestone or Genetec.
