Responsibilities

This position is focused on supporting improvements to manufacturing processes regarding automation, machine controls, and CAD modeling of systems. Primary responsibility is to support modeling and machine automation via CAD tools, G-code logic, and testing plans with our fab equipment to validate concepts. Clear communication through documentation and careful working method are a necessity.


Qualifications

Essential:
Pursuing Bachelor's in Mechanical or Optical Engineering (Industrial Engineering acceptable if studying automation)

Experience working with multi-axis machinery in a machining/manufacturing environment

Proficiency in:

CNC Programming in G-Code or comparable

Siemens NX or comparable 3D modeling

ME10 or comparable 2D drafting

Experience working with image files and/or metrology data types encouraged

Pay Range:

$25-45/hour
