JOB DESCRIPTION: SUMMARY OF POSITIONProvides interpreter services to individuals with either limited English proficiency or who are non-English speakers. Services will be provided using electronic and/or face-to-face mediums. Assists staff in listening to, understanding and translating spoken or written statements from one language to another. Provides improved understanding of cross-cultural communication.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
QUALIFICATIONS Education Level Bachelor's degree in social work, Social Sciences, Interpretation, anthropology, or related field preferred. Years of Experience Two years' direct interpretation experience, preferably in a mental health setting., is required. Experience in customer service preferred. Certification/Licensure Must possess applicable driver's license in good standing, with his/her own vehicle.
