A Principal Electrical Engineer: Plans and implements the design, manufacture, installation and/or maintenance of electrical systems and apparatus, such as electric motors, machinery controls, lighting, wiring and power systems/devices, for the generation, transmission and control of electric power



Major Position Responsibilities

    Designs, develops, and tests electrical equipment, components, circuits, or systems.
  • Applies mathematical and engineering principles and methods to designs.
  • Performs extensive testing and validation of designs to ensure reliability, performance, and safety standards are achieved.
  • Conducts research and studies new technologies to innovate and design solutions or products.


Basic Qualifications

Required Education: Associates Degree and 8-10 years experience

Preferred Education: Bachelor's Degree

Discipline/Major: Electrical Engineering or other Engineer degree required
