Overview

The Professional Services Manager is responsible for the strategic services delivered with their Region. Their responsibilities including P/L performance, creating a strong work environment, achievement of regional and corporate goals and managing established processes. This position is also responsible for continuous improvement in services and results year over year and to work in close coordination with the Services Director & PMO to manage changes within the organization.



Responsibilities

Essential Functions

    Oversees and participates in the management of technical services for products sold as well as the services throughout the United States with primary focus in the Central region
  • Provides hand's on assistance to resolve technical problems that may occur with the projects
  • Develops and maintains customer satisfaction levels of 95% Good and Excellent through the management of region engineering resources
  • Develops, implements, and maintains sound business practices
  • Consolidates and analyzes profitability, revenue, and margin across region
  • Helps identifies new service opportunities within the region.
  • Maintains Best Practice approach with delivery process and procedures to ensure highest level of quality and consistency with services delivered
  • Develops, Monitors and evaluates continued education of resource and developmental plans for all associates to ensure highest level of attainment.
  • Manages team to ensure optimal utilization, customer satisfaction and maximum profitability
  • Collaborates with the sales/marketing/CTO group and provides technical information for recommending changes and predicting performance


Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Five or more years in a Services management role or related experience is required
  • Strong knowledge of the entire AVAYA suite including but not limited to IPT, call center, messaging and collaboration products
  • Five or more years of supervisory experience required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
  • Strong problem solving, decision-making, and negotiation skills required
  • Ability to work with Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Player/Coach mentality is mandatory to achieve collaborative results

Desired/Preferred Qualifications

  • 2 year degree in Business or Technical related filed preferred
  • 2-4 year experience with a Manufacturer or Vender
  • Experience with Cisco, Microsoft, Contact Center and/or Genesys preferred

Supervisory Responsibility

  • Supervises, coaches and mentors Professional Service Engineers; 10-20 Project Managers, Software Specialist, Schedulers, or other support staff

Pay Range

$105,000 - $175,000

Base pay ranges are estimated. Actual base pay will be based on education, experience, location, certifications, skill set, and any other relevant factors. Incentive/variable pay opportunities are in addition to base pay.
