JOB SUMMARY

Ensures compliance with contract specification requirements through the various commissioning levels.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS


  • Requires the knowledge of electrical construction and theory at a level normally acquired through the completion of a five -year electrical apprentice program or a combination of education and experience within the electrical construction industry. A minimum of 3 years commissioning experience or equivalent.


KEY SKILLS & COMPETENCIES



  • Excellent organizational, leadership, communication, and analytical skills are essential. Requires strong attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize and complete projects on schedule. Advanced knowledge and skills in the use of various Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Thorough knowledge of commissioning activities. Experience in construction activities and control system installation.




JOB RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Plan, direct, and supervise project commissioning functions and activities.
  • Review, understand, and implement the Contract Specification commissioning requirements through the various levels of construction from installation through integrated systems testing.
  • Coordinate with QAQC team members to perform audits of documentation and installation checklists.
  • Ensures timely submission of required testing documentation.
  • Provide technical assistance to team members through start-up and commissioning of systems.
  • Act as liaison with the client, subcontractors, and internal departments on commissioning matters.
  • Ensure company standards are outlined and effectively implemented.
  • Ensure adequate corrective measures are implemented in cases of non-compliance with Contract Specifications.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS


  • Electrical construction experience or construction management
