Job Overview:

The MHA will assist in carrying out the behavioral plan of care such as diversional activities while keeping the patient's safety at the forefront.The Mental Health Worker will be responsible for the facilitation of activity groups in an inpatient program.

Essential Functions:

• Maintains unit safely and facilitates daily activity of the patients
• Assists patients in activities of daily living
• Conduct rounds
• Records accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Assists in code responses as per policy and in accordance with training
• Assists in securing patient personal belongings
