This role entails advancing the Director's agenda through strategic planning, cross-functional engagement, and execution of special projects. Responsibilities include coordinating and managing essential departmental activities, optimizing business functions for efficiency, and continuously enhancing internal processes. The role will also advise on stakeholder and public relations initiatives, ensuring alignment with the department's goals. Additionally, the Assistant Athletic Director will collaborate closely with the Director of Athletics on departmental initiatives, from meticulous event planning to strategic oversight, maintaining focus on the broader vision and mission. They will support the Chief Operating Officer on designated projects and assist the Athletic Foundation, as directed by the Deputy Director of Athletics for Advancement and the Athletic Foundation Board. Moreover, the role will oversee the planning and execution of all internal and external events for the Director of Athletics, demonstrating a commitment to excellence in organizational management and operational efficiency.
