Project Manager, Sr. Facilities Engineer

Facilities Planning and Design:

• Support the planning, design, and layout of facilities to meet organizational requirements and standards.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and engineering teams to ensure optimal facility design.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders to execute projects successfully.

Maintenance and Operations:

• Oversee the maintenance and day-to-day operations of facilities, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure the reliability of critical systems.

Energy Efficiency and Sustainability:

• Develop and implement strategies to enhance energy efficiency and sustainability in facility operations.
• Identify and implement initiatives to reduce environmental impact.

Regulatory Compliance:

• Ensure that facilities comply with local, state, and federal regulations, codes, and safety standards.
• Work with regulatory agencies to obtain necessary permits and approvals.

Budget Management:

• Develop and manage budgets for facility projects, maintenance, and operations.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement measures to optimize spending.

Space Planning and Utilization:

• Analyze space utilization and plan for future space needs based on organizational growth and requirements.
• Optimize the layout of workspaces for efficiency and functionality.

Vendor Management:

• Manage relationships with external vendors, service providers, and contractors.
• Negotiate contracts and oversee the performance of third-party services.

How will you get here?

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
• 5-8 years of related experience.
• Proficiency in facilities engineering, project management, and knowledge of building systems.
• Familiarity with computer-aided design (CAD) software.
• In-depth understanding of local, state, and federal regulations related to facilities management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate technical information to diverse audiences.
