Overview Advanced Technologies & Lab International, Inc. (ATL) is hiring for services in support of our partnership with Salado Isolation Mining Contractors SIMCO Central Characterization Program (CCP). ATL will perform safe and compliant waste characterization and certification activities at Los Alamos National Laboratory. The purpose of the waste characterization is to confirm the Acceptable Knowledge (AK) of national defense-generated Contact-Handled (CH) Transuranic (TRU), and CH Mixed TRU Waste. TRU waste visual exam operators play a critical role in ensuring the safe handling and disposal of radioactive waste and must follow strict safety protocols to protect themselves and others from exposure to radiation. Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities In this position, is for a Visual Examination Operator who will be responsible for obtaining and maintaining qualifications as CCP VEO1 - VEO2. Shift: 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM
