POSITION

Allspring Global Investments is seeking a Regional Director in Western Florida reporting to Carmelo Carrozza, Eastern Divisional Director. As a Regional Director, you will cover a strategically important and large market geographic area in the Intermediary Sales channel. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales of Allspring's mutual funds, separately managed accounts, money funds, and DCIO business at all broker dealers and RIAs.

RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Collaborating with sales management to provide feedback and insights on trends in the industry and market demands on our Financial Advisor clients.
  • Achieving top tier market share at the territory level, at Allspring's focus firms, and in their focus products.
  • Providing updates on what the Financial Advisors own and discussing best investment strategies and business management ideas.
  • Excelling in leaning in on specific asset classes, earning the right to compete for a spot, and delivering exceptionally on proposals.
  • Collaborating with third-party speakers, portfolio managers, and product specialists throughout the year.
  • Building relationships with influential local organizations and broker/dealer personnel to enhance existing connections and provide clients with more sales opportunities.
  • Developing strategies to enter untapped markets and strengthen existing partnerships to enhance the competitiveness of our products.
  • Partnering with home office platform investment strategy consultants and key accounts relationship managers to ensure execution on strategies with key internal and external distribution channels.
  • Partnering with Centers of Influence to increase reach and deepen advisor relationships.
  • Achieving excellence by consistently exhibiting proactive work behaviors and actively working towards the attainment of business unit goals in a manner that aligns with ethical principles and promotes efficiency.


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS



  • 5 years minimum of sales experience required, bringing experienced relationships and sales success with top Financial Advisory firms.
  • Experience exceeding established performance goals.
  • Solid knowledge of industry-specific needs, constraints, and opportunities for wealth and investment management.
  • FINRA Series 7 and 63 (or 66)
  • Reside in a major metro center of the territory.
  • A strong drive to achieve goals with a focus on delivering excellent service. Demonstrates high levels of energy, a sense of urgency, and a dedicated work ethic. Approaches work with an entrepreneurial spirit, even within the framework of a large public company. Shows enthusiasm for building and growing a business. Possesses the ability to build consensus and find innovative solutions within Allspring.
  • Integrity and the personal presence to represent Allspring with enthusiasm and distinction.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS



  • Excellent relationship-building skills coupled with the ability to work effectively in a team environment where strong independent thinking skills are important.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities - exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong presentation & facilitation skills.
  • Ability to travel 80% of the time.
  • Equivalent experience in financial analysis and planning will be considered in addition to a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Certified Financial Planner (CFP), or Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA) designation.
