Organic Coating Technician, Sylmar, CA Pay: 23.75 Shift: 2nd As anOrganic Coating Technician, you will be a crucial part of our operations, ensuring that a quality product is available to our customers when they need them. Your work will directly affect people's lives! Primary Responsibilities Consistently prepare substrate surfaces for coatings applications to appropriate levels of quality. Perform unsupervised organic coating equipment set-up, daily TPM checklists, cleaning, spare parts inventory, organic coating procedures, and clean room protocol. Develop a fundamental understating of the transparency coatings industry. Must strive to maintain efficient team dynamics and harmony. Actively reduce rework and scrap while increasing first pass yield. Follow all coatings and PPG procedures and policies. Qualifications Ability to Lift/Carry up to 50 lbs. Ability to push/pull 50lb or more. Prior experience in organic coatings is a plus.
