Position Summary

The Family Support Supervisor within the Family Expectations Program will oversee and support the Family Support team, ensuring effective service delivery aligned with program, organizational, and funder goals. This role involves supervising and developing the team of Family Support Coaches, monitoring case management processes, and utilizing data to drive improvements and report progress.

Essential Job Functions



  • Team Oversight and Support:

    • Supervise and develop Family Support Coaches (FSCs) to ensure they deliver high-quality services aligned with program guidelines.
    • Conduct regular team meetings to address challenges, share best practices, and foster a collaborative team environment.
    • Provide guidance and support on complex cases and assist FSCs in overcoming obstacles related to case management.


  • Service Delivery Management:

    • Ensure that initial assessments/intakes and enrollments are conducted accurately and efficiently.
    • Oversee the structured case management process, including regular follow-ups, progress monitoring, and service plan adjustments.
    • Support FSCs in connecting families with community resources and referrals, ensuring effective follow-up and support.


  • Curriculum Reinforcement:

    • Support the reinforcement of communication concepts and skills taught during FE workshops.
    • Monitor and evaluate the application of workshop topics on healthy relationships, self-sufficiency, and parenting within client interactions.


  • Employment and Financial Stability Support:

    • Oversee the integration of employment and financial stability services into couple service plans.
    • Ensure FSCs provide effective referrals to Work Ready Oklahoma and facilitate financial literacy conversations.


  • Promotion of Two-Parent Family Stability:

    • Encourage and support the formation and maintenance of two-parent families through curriculum reinforcement and skills practice.
    • Address challenges faced by couples and promote strategies for strengthening family bonds and cooperative parenting.


  • Staff Development and Training:

    • Facilitate ongoing staff development, including training on Motivational Interviewing (MI) and other relevant skills.
    • Organize and conduct training sessions and professional development activities to enhance team performance and competencies.


  • Process Monitoring and Evaluation:

    • Monitor and evaluate case management processes to ensure consistency, efficiency, and adherence to program standards.
    • Utilize data to assess staff and program effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.


  • Data Management and Reporting:

    • Oversee data collection, documentation, and reporting using proprietary systems (DMS and nFORM 2.0).
    • Analyze data to generate reports, track performance metrics, and inform program improvements.
    • Report progress and outcomes to program leadership and stakeholders.


  • Compliance and Quality Assurance:

    • Ensure adherence to program policies, procedures, and ethical guidelines.
    • Conduct regular audits of case documentation and data entry to maintain high-quality standards and compliance with reporting requirements.


  • Stakeholder Engagement:

    • Build and maintain relationships with community partners, stakeholders, and service providers to enhance program effectiveness.
    • Represent the Family Support team and Family Expectations program in meetings and community events as needed.


  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education/Training



  • Bachelor's degree in Sociology, Social Work, Family and Child Studies, Marriage and Family Studies, or a related field, required
  • Advanced degree, preferred


Experience



  • Required minimum 3-5 years of experience in supervision and team leadership, including staff training and performance management
  • Required direct experience providing case management, conducting assessments, developing and implementing service plans, and monitoring client progress
  • Required experience with data management systems and reporting, including the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data


Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities



  • Ability to work flexible hours (including evenings and some Saturdays)
  • Proficiency in Motivational Interviewing and case management techniques
  • Data analysis and reporting skills
