Do you have previous banking experience and enjoy working in a fast-pace environment? We have a position with a local bank helping assist their ACH department with a variety of tasks. This is a great contract-to-hire opportunity for one looking to advance their banking or finance career!
The candidate must possess excellent communication skills, dependability and attention to detail. Must be comfortable working in a fast paced environment.
Under general supervision, performs a variety of operational tasks for the most complex processes or functions. Takes accountability for entire process from receipt of work to resolution and closure, researches issues as they may arise and analyzes information as needed. Tasks require coordination of information among various operational areas and customers. Considered a subject matter expert on operational issues related to process or function. May provide training to less senior technicians for complex issues or transactions.
Responsibilities include:
  • Coordination of information among various operational areas as well as business lines.
  • Effectively communicate with customers in alignment with brand standards.
  • Acts as escalation point for less senior technicians for complex issues or transactions and provides training as needed.
  • Identify and report fraud to manager and Financial Intelligence Department when necessary.
  • Maintain compliance with all regulations and rules pertaining to operational area.
  • Identify efficiency opportunities and bring forth ideas to leadership for review.
  • Receive/review incoming work, prioritize accordingly and contact appropriate resources as needed to meet SLAs.
  • Minimize risk by following all regulations and rules pertaining to operational area and report deficiencies to leadership.
  • Assist in the development and presentation of training.
  • Escalate suspected fraud to Financial Intelligence Department and leadership for resolution.
  • Enter transactions into PC, verify accuracy, and balance general ledger accounts/applications.
  • Resolve complex customer issues using multiple resources and records.
  • Perform fast, effective, accurate, and courteous service to customers and banks.
  • Prepare, edit, distribute, and/or correct specialized and/or complex documents.
  • Provide regular reports on customer feedback and trends in problems or situations involving various product activities.
  • Review processes and procedures for accuracy and efficiency opportunities and recommend to leadership, as applicable.
Requirements:
Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience Business, Finance, or related field
Preferred 2-4 years Business, Finance or Operations
Required 3+ years Banking, Financial Services or Operations
