Position Summary
Are you passionate about innovation and precision in hardware testing? We're looking for a skilled Electrical Test Engineer to play a key role in shaping the future of gaming technology. In this position, you'll be at the forefront of designing, implementing, and documenting cutting-edge test strategies and solutions that enhance the performance and reliability of gaming systems and components. As a valued team member, you'll work closely with cross-functional experts, applying your experience in hardware, software, and integration testing to solve complex challenges and ensure system functionality, stability, and performance. From developing test suites to validating performance across electrical and mechanical subsystems, your work will directly impact the quality and success of LNW's product lines. Responsibilities:
- Develop, review, and execute test cases derived from both defined and undefined system requirements.
- Collaborate closely with product design and hardware development teams to define test parameters, establish quality standards, and troubleshoot as necessary.
- Design and implement testing strategies, plans, and detailed procedures for effective hardware validation.
- Conduct comprehensive product testing to meet internal and external performance and quality benchmarks.
- Create, validate, and maintain functional test kits for hardware assemblies, supporting vendor testing needs.
- Use test equipment and analytical methods to troubleshoot and optimize hardware designs.
- Document all testing procedures and produce clear, technical reports.
- Analyze, interpret, and summarize testing outcomes, providing clear insights to stakeholders.
- Ensure accuracy and maintain workflow efficiency across multiple ongoing tasks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years in hardware testing, with expertise in electrical and mechanical engineering.
- Strong background in testing and manufacturing processes for electro-mechanical assemblies.
- Skilled in hardware-software integration and related testing.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Solid foundation in electrical and mechanical engineering principles and practices.
- Proven experience in developing precise test strategies, plans, and cases.
- Comprehensive understanding of hardware and software testing methodologies.
- Familiarity with test automation tools and methodologies.
- Proficient in using testing equipment, such as oscilloscopes, digital analyzers, multimeters, function generators, and spectrum analyzers.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with minimal supervision.
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership over individual tasks.
- Capable of managing multiple tasks, setting priorities, and securing resources for critical demands.
- Ability to meet deadlines and produce high-quality results in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent documentation and communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
