Position Summary Develop and manage the field placement programs in dance education, educational theatre and music education in the Department of Music and Performing Arts Professions, and the program in visual arts education in the Department of Art and Art Professions. The Field Administrator will cultivate relationships with local area educational organizations to identify and assess potential field placements for NYU undergraduate and graduate students, and will monitor the progress of student teachers; communicate with supervising faculty; advise on options and alternatives; and form collaborative relationships with workshops and tutoring programs. While essentially a designated position in arts education, it is expected that the Field Administrator will work in other areas as part of the team in the Office of School and Community Partnerships, housed within the Department of Teaching and Learning, as determined by the Director and the Chairs in the Department. Qualifications Required Education: Additional Information In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $73,363.50 to USD $89,666.50. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer.
