The Position
The Rutz lab in the Research Oncology department at Genentech is seeking a highly motivated, and creative immunologist for a Scientist 3 role to perform discovery research and contribute to the development of novel drug targets in the area of synthetic immunity. The Opportunity: This laboratory-based role involves close collaboration with colleagues and teams across multiple functions including cell therapy, molecular biology, protein engineering, computational sciences, functional genomics, in vivo pharmacology, early clinical development and manufacturing. You will focus on the development of next generation cellular therapies, such as CAR-T and TCR-T, against solid tumor targets.

Relocation benefits are not available for this posting. The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of California is $100,200 to $186,000. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
