Position Summary The Director of Health Psychology Services (Director) provides strategic direction, leadership, operational planning, and supervision for all Health Psychology services provided for patients in the Cook County Health (CCH Ambulatory & Community Health Network (ACHN) clinical sites and hospital settings. The Director provides clinical consultation, mentorship, and clinical practice expertise. Identifies, develops, implements, and evaluates process and performance improvement plans in the provision of patient care and health psychology practices. Monitors adherence to regulatory compliance and clinical excellence. This Director reports directly to the Chief Psychologist and the Chair of the Department of Psychiatry. Typical Duties

When applying for employment with the Cook County Health & Hospitals System, preference is given to honorably discharged Veterans who have served in the Armed Forces of the United States for not less than 6 months of continuous service

Original credentialing documents bust be presented at time of interview.
Must successfully meet the credentialing standards established by the Cook County Health and Hospitals System to include a State of Illinois MD license and any other license, certification, or specialized training, etc. no later than two (2) weeks prior to the candidate's start date
