We are seeking a Utilization Coordinator to join our team at our program in York, PA.
Position Details
This position is responsible for providing case management, support, and coordination for the IBHS program, working closely with the IBHS Program Manager and Clinical Director.
Key duties include, but are not limited to:
* Delivering excellent customer service to clients, families, and insurance companies.
* Gathering information on the mental health needs of children through the timely completion of intake packets and managing annual releases.
* Advocating for clients and making necessary community referrals for individual children.
* Serving as a liaison with insurance companies regarding authorizations and ensuring the timely submission of authorization packets.
* Monitoring authorizations and deadlines, and ensuring that registrations, case closures, and payer updates are forwarded to the registrar.
* Maintaining a database with up-to-date client information and implementing tracking systems for utilization.
* Managing case files, overseeing case management, and assisting in the preparation for documentation reviews and audits.
* Managing staff caseloads and assigned hours, as well as site waiting lists, exception reporting, and transfers.
* Providing support across sites as needed to ensure work-related duties are handled effectively.
* If applicable, this role may require travel to York, Carlisle, Enola, and Hershey locations of Merakey.
Earn: $16 per hr.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
* High School Diploma required.
* 1 year experience working in human services is required
* Excellent Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe skills required.

Bachelor's degree in human services field preferred.
